Join us for Science on Tap: What the Satellites See: Observing Rivers from Space, on April 25th at 5:30 p.m. at Rising Silo Brewery. Join us as Nutshell Games participant and geosciences department graduate student Emily Ellis discusses how we can use satellites to view rivers from space. Emily will show attendees how satellite imagery can help answer questions about river temperatures, explain how they change over time, and allow participants to try spatial analysis themselves.

This event is free and open to the public and is hosted by the Center for Communicating Science and the VT Sigma Xi chapter.
