June 11-July 16, 2025: Effective communication is essential for pandemic researchers working to inform and protect the public. This interactive 6-part series workshop is designed to help NSF COMPASS Center faculty and post-docs strengthen their science communication skills and better connect with diverse audiences.

Led by Virginia Tech’s Center for Communicating Science, the series uses arts-based, experiential learning methods to build inclusive, audience-centered communication practices. Participants will explore storytelling, active engagement, and tools for bridging the gap between research and public understanding.
